1896: As the pioneers of magic compete against each other to amaze the public, the most spectacular magic show of all times will soon happen and YOU want to win it! To achieve that, you'll portray one of the ten magicians in competition and challenge your competitors with prestigious tricks. Illusio takes place at the great ages of magic and illusions where the mysterious magic arts were as much science as mystery. Through this lively card game, you're one of the ten magicians who compete to become the master of illusion. You may be Savano the magnificent lord of animals or the amazing Shaozu who modifies things or, even, the hypnotic Miss Domina who subjugates the crowds... whoever you are, magic will no longer be a mystery for you! You gather various types of components (accessories, animals, tricks, formulas, etc.) that you store in your backstage until the time comes to use them. In the meantime, you collect action cards to make your turns even more fantastic or, at the opposite, cheapen your opponents show. Objectives to achieve are placed in a common contest for all magicians and there is variety here: from close-up to illusion through evasion or mentalism. The fastest magician (the first one who has the required components) will be the first one to put his hands on the magic tricks he wishes to achieve. But beware! Your opponents will also know how to use magic against you and it is likely that your backstage will quickly turn into some kind of a mess... Remember: in the search of prestige, everything is allowed! Only the most gifted magician will win this race for spectacular and impress the public at first to become the master of illusion!
